Description
The Neural Zoomer Plus measures immune reactivity to structures, tissues, cells, and chemicals in the brain and peripheral nervous system. This test can detect underlying inflammatory responses that may be causing symptoms related to mood, memory, aging, balance, nervous function, movement, pain, and more.
Symptoms and risk factors
- Hyperactive (nervous energy)
- Muscle spasms
- Depression
- Anxiety (fears, uneasiness)
- Irritability
- Forgetfulness
- Lack of concentration/Brain fog
- Headache (not migraine)
- Migraine
Is this test right for me?
The Neural Zoomer Plus tests for multiple inflammatory autoimmune responses to regions, structures, and chemicals in the brain and nervous system. Consider this test if you have body aches, tremors, risk for Alzheimer’s, risk for Parkinson’s, ADHD, Autism, PANS/PANDAS, balance problems, memory loss, trouble concentrating, vision or hearing loss, mood changes, chronic or acute fatigue, mood disorders, joint pain, gastrointestinal symptoms, or other autoimmune disorders.
How accurate is this test?
The Neural Zoomer Plus panel regularly achieves between 94-100% accuracy due to a fully automated innovative multiplex platform.
How should I prepare for this test?
Fasting is not required for the Neural Zoomer Plus test, and there are no diet or dietary supplement restictions required before testing. If you are taking steroids, immunosuppressive medications, biologic agents, or other immunmodulating medications, you may not get an accurate result of your antibody levels. If you are taking any of these medications you may get falsely lower or falsely higher antibody results. For this reason, to ensure the most accurate results, your ordering provider may recommend testing 14-30 days after discontinuing these medications, or they may recommend testing Total Immunoglobulins (Total IgE, Total IgM, Total IgA, and Total IgG) before testing specific antibody levels to neural antigens and viral and bacterial antigens tested in the Neural Zoomer Plus. Consult with your ordering provider regarding whether to continue or discontinue any dietary supplements or medications before your test, or whether to test Total Immunoglobulins before the Neural Zoomer Plus test.
